SHS Band Members Make the
2021-2022 All Region Jazz Band
On Wednesday, September 22nd the Seminole High School Band hosted the 2021-2022 All Region Jazz Band Auditions. Seminole had 11 students audition and all 11 made the bands. On Saturday, January 21st the students performed in their All-Region Jazz Concert that was held at South Plains College. During the concert, Seminole’s Daniel Carrizales and Daniel Lapusan were featured as soloists for Jazz 1. Daniel Carrizales had trumpet solos on “Watermelon Man” and “Blues in Hoss Flat” and Daniel Lapusan was a featured soloist on the Thad Jones Ballad “A Child is Born”.
